Personal service
Mao Health is private, non-commercial software operated solely for its owner. It imports and displays records only from accounts the owner is authorized to access. It may not be used to access another person’s data or to circumvent a provider’s access controls.
Health information
Mao Health is an informational record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, disease exclusion, emergency monitoring, or medication advice. Health decisions should be made with an appropriately qualified professional.
Connected services
Access to Oura data depends on the owner’s Oura account, active authorization, applicable membership, Oura API availability, and compliance with Oura’s terms. Mao Health is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Oura Health.
Acceptable use
The owner will use Mao Health and connected APIs only for lawful personal purposes, request only data necessary for those purposes, protect credentials and local records, respect authorization choices, and stop processing data when consent is revoked.
Third-party services and warranties
Third-party service providers, including Oura, provide their services under their own terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties on behalf of third-party service providers are disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Third-party service providers are excluded from liability for consequential, special, punitive, or indirect damages arising from use of Mao Health.
No warranty
Mao Health is provided “as is” and “as available.” Data sources may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or changed without notice. The owner remains responsible for reviewing records and deciding whether they are suitable for any personal use.
Ending use and deletion
The owner may stop using Mao Health, revoke connected-account authorization, and delete the local data store at any time. Applicable Oura-derived user data will be deleted within 72 hours after a deletion request or termination of the integration.
Changes
These terms and the related privacy policy will be updated when the application’s data handling or connected-service obligations materially change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
